We are increasingly asked for competitive benchmark data and analysis. In one recent assignment, as input into a multinational company’s strategic planning process, Hedstrom Associates staff conducted a benchmarking on sustainability-related positioning, goals, and actions of competitors, customers, and leaders. Using our proprietary sustainability benchmark methodology, we deliver frequently “tough news” and provide insights as to strategic options, risks, and opportunities.

Hedstrom Associates was recently asked by a Fortune 20 company and a Fortune 100 company to conduct a detailed review of the hundred-odd external sustainability ratings. We updated our database of ratings; conducted extensive analysis of the company’s audience, methodologies, rigor, reputation, and geographic status. Then we selected a “top ten” ratings to pay most attention to. We update our analysis quarterly.
